Today’s buyers are looking closely at ownership costs as well as their desired lifestyle. That means knowing how to determine the important numbers for your clients, such as estimating monthly mortgage payments, insurance premiums and property taxes (PITI). “Take 1 percent of the mortgage amount and then subtract $100 or $200 for every $100,000 borrowed,” says Grant W.
