Q. What software or plug-ins do I need to best use floridarealtors.org?

A. Floridarealtors.org is optimized for the latest technology. Be sure you have the newest plug-ins for a better onsite experience.

Q. Is there a charge to use floridarealtors.org?

A. No, most of the floridarealtors.org Web site is free and open to the public. Members of the Florida Association of Realtors® are entitled to specific benefits and privileges, and those areas are password protected. However, please note that some business tools available through floridarealtors.org are provided by third parties who charge a fee for their products and services (though often at a discount to FAR members).

Q. Does floridarealtors.org use cookies?

A. Yes. Floridarealtors.org uses cookies to provide you with a secure, personalized experience on our Web site. The cookie used by floridarealtors.org is a "session" cookie, meaning that the cookie is only stored in the browser while the browser is open. None of your personal information is stored on the cookie. The only information stored is a unique identifier.

Using a cookie allows us to provide you with members-only information without having to login each time you move to a new area of the site. In accordance with our Privacy Policy, we do not give any other web sites access to the information, nor do we sell, rent or trade your personal information to others.

Q. We are having trouble with your Web page and data fitting on our screen. How can your info be reduced to fit on a 15-inch  screen?

A. The site was designed for a screen resolution of 800x600 pixels, which means it is best viewed on monitors of 17 inches or larger. Depending on your monitor size you may be able to change the resolution. Contact the FAR Technology Helpline if you need further assistance.

Q. How do I change my email address in floridarealtors.org?

A. The floridarealtors.org support staff is unable to change any information on your personal web page.

However, if you will follow these directions, you can change it yourself
:

• Log in to floridarealtors.org
• Click on "My Membership” at the top right of the home page
• Choose "Edit Contact Data" and change the email address.
• Be sure to click on the save button.

Your next step is to make sure your local Board has your email address listed correctly in their membership records (as well as in the National Association of REALTORS® Database System on the Internet). If it does not, your email address may change back to the old one with the next membership update from your local Board. At that point, all your hard work will be for naught.
