Realtors, boards, associations and staff  can apply for assistance from Florida Realtors Disaster Relief Fund or make a contribution.
 
Hurricane Preparation and Recovery Plan
Florida Realtors, along with an Association Executives Council task force, compiled a detailed Hurricane Preparation and Recovery Plan after four hurricanes struck the state in 2004. These suggestions help you plan before hurricane season, once the storm hits and how to recover afterward.

If severe weather damages your home or business, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation website includes a database of all insurers. 

Temporary residential rental properties in Florida
If you need temporary rental housing, the Florida Living Network website lists thousands of available rental properties throughout Florida. You may search using several criteria, including property type, availability, location and property features.
