Broward County should keep its gambling profits Editor, Broward County is the only county to approve legalized gaming and gambling in the State of Florida at the present time. As a Realtor in Broward for 32 years and a gaming person, I think the state should allow all the revenues from the gaming houses to stay in Broward County to drop taxes, finance our teachers, police officers, schools and subsidize taxes. This measure could at least help our county keep some of the sellers from leaving, encourage some buyers to return, and persuade some of the other counties to carry their own weight in raising revenues.
