Want bottom line price for 4-bedroom home?

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Dec. 6, 2012 – Each year, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC releases its Home Listing Report to determine which U.S. cities offer the most house for a buyer’s money. This year, four Florida cities made the “most affordable” list.

To compare differences, the company considers the average listing price of a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home. Nationally, it’s $292,152; however, 36 percent of U.S. markets in the report had an average home listing price less than $200,000. The lowest average price of a four-bedroom home, $62,080, is in College Park, Ga.

However, four Florida cities that made the most-affordable Top 20. They include:
• No. 5 Poinciana at $76,341
• No. 6 Hastings at $78,840
• No. 13 Fort Pierce at $89,292
• No. 16 Lehigh Acres at $92,819

No Florida cities made the top 20 most-expensive list, which had a number of cities in California’s San Francisco Bay area. Los Altos, Calif., topped the list with an average four-bedroom home listed at $1,706,688.

The report analyzed more than 72,000 home listings in more than 2,500 U.S. markets from January 2012 to June 2012.
