NAR-owned Realtor.com puts on a new face

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Mar. 11, 2013 – Move Inc. – the oversight company for the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) consumer website, Realtor.com –launched a new marketing campaign called “Find It First.”  The campaign debuted a week after a Realtor.com website update.

The update includes a new logo in addition to the “Find It First” tagline. Move says it chose the tagline as a digital marketing campaign – a quick way to tell consumers that Realtor.com home listings are more accurate and timely than the listings found on competitors’ websites. The website’s home page adds an additional line: “Listings delivered fresh from the MLS & updated every 15 minutes.”

A number of websites that advertise listings update less often; and in more than one case, a potential buyer has found a home only to discover that it went under contract up to five days earlier.

“A strong and relevant brand is one that can be embraced, understood and explained by consumers – in the voice of the brand itself, but more importantly in the consumer’s own words,” says Barbara O’Connor, executive vice president of marketing at Move. “Realtor.com is all about creating connections with real human beings, so it is time we start talking to our consumers and to the industry with more personality, voice and humanity than ever before.”

Move is also the parent brand to other real estate solutions, including Top Producer, TigerLead Solutions, ListHub, Rentals, SeniorHousingNet and moving and relocation services.
