DBPR: A Certificate of Licensure is now free online

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Jan. 8, 2014 – The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR)’s Division of Real Estate now offers Certificates of Licensure or “Letters of Good Standing” online.

To download and print a certificate, Florida licensees access their online account by logging in to DBPR’s website, http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/. Once logged in, they select “Request Licensure Certification” and receive their certification instantly.

The online certificates are free, but a detailed certificate, if needed, must still be purchased. The current cost is $25.

“Through the former process, Florida licensees who requested licensure in another state were required to mail in a request (for their license certification) to DBPR and allow up to 30 days for processing, followed by several days for mailing,” says DBPR Secretary Ken Lawson.
