NEW YORK – Jan. 28, 2014 – In an age when people stop everything to read texts or answer calls, even while driving, it’s important for real estate agents to go the other direction – to give clients their undivided focus.
To show clients that they care, agents should give them 100 percent of their attention, ignoring most phone calls and text. That kind of attention shows a client that the agent can zero in on a task until it’s completed.
Paying attention to clients also ensures that agents understand their wants and needs, demonstrates caring, and nurtures a connection on the deepest human level.
It can also make agents more efficient. Rather than multitasking, they should focus on one conversation, one task and one relationship at a time – embrace the “get by giving” philosophy.
