Man harasses female real estate agents near Tampa
RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Jan. 26, 2016 – A man in Riverview, Fla., is accused of acting suspiciously toward female real estate professionals at model homes. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has asked for help identifying the man.
The sheriff issued an e-mail to the media following the incident, which occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, stating: "The female salesperson was working alone and became aware of the subject … invading her personal space and giving her compliments, following closely as they walked around."
After reporting the man to the sheriff's office, the female agent heard of a similar incident that occurred on Jan. 11 at another model home in Riverview. In that incident, the man is also accused of leaning over the female agent's desk and rubbing his "groin area over the agent's hands."
A photo of the alleged criminal is posted online, along with the complete Hillsborough County Sheriff Office's report. Police ask anyone with information about his identity to call the sheriff's office at (813) 247-8200.
