NAR’s Broker Summit kicks off June 9 in Denver
WASHINGTON – March 17, 2016 – The National Association of Realtors® (NAR) 2016 Realtor Broker Summit will have "even more perspectives and insights about critical business strategies and tools for successfully running … brokerages," NAR says.
The Summit includes industry panel sessions and keynotes, along with a comprehensive economic and market update.
"The Realtor Broker Summit is designed to help brokers hone the specific management and entrepreneurial skills they need to make their businesses thrive," says NAR President Tom Salomone, broker-owner of Real Estate II Inc. in Coral Springs, Florida. Salomone says it also provides "new insights into the brokerage industry … and incredible networking opportunities."
This year's summit take places in Denver on June 9-10. With a primary focus on management, the event will feature sessions on culture, recruiting strategies and game-changing technology. It also includes a Power Broker Roundtable panel presented by RIS Media, a discussion of key economic trends from NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun and an update from NAR General Counsel Katherine Johnson on independent contractor classification and how it impacts brokerages.
The motivational speaker will be Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton, who catapulted to international fame by winning the all-around gold medal in women's gymnastics at the 1984 Olympic Games – the first American woman ever to win a gold medal in gymnastics.
