What water shortage? The world is covered with water

Two-thirds of the global surface is covered with water! So, where is the problem? And with global warming causing glaciers to melt, there will be even more water. I don’t get your idea of a water shortage.

Install desalination stations around the world, and the so-called shortage will be taken care of.

If we can transport oil in pipes thousand of miles, we could do the same with water, so please don’t call something a shortage if we have not exhausted all our options.
