Thanks a million In lieu of a 1996 agreement with the University of Florida to donate his 457 local residential units, worth $10 million at the time, Nathan Collier will give $1 million to the school’s Warrington College of Business Administration. Specifically, the money will be used to endow the Nathan S. Collier Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) Program. Properties north of the campus are not needed at the present time, Collier explains; however, he says the monetary donation will enable the state’s flagship university to immediately enhance its real estate program. The Florida Trust Fund for Major Gifts could provide a matching contribution of $750,000 in response to Collier’s. MSRE director David Ling says, “This gift will help bring a national focus to the MSRE program and will help us recruit and enroll the highest quality students from around the world.” Source: Gainesville Sun (FL) (03/31/07) Clark, Anthony © Copyright 2007 INFORMATION, INC.
