A TESTIMONY TO SUCCESS No need to tell potential clients how great you are – let previous clients do it. Since consumers believe what other people say about real estate professionals, it’s crucial for agents to collect client testimonials for use in listing presentations, advertising and Web sites. Agents should ask every satisfied client to provide a testimonial, using client surveys to determine which customers to approach. When asking for the testimonial, agents should offer to draft a letter on behalf of the client based on their survey responses and the follow-up phone call, or they could ask the client to write a letter themselves. To be effective, the testimonials should be specific, providing details about their interactions with the agent. Source: RISMedia (10/15/08) Proctor, Craig © Copyright 2008 INFORMATION, INC.
