DIY – HOLIDAY CARDS

Do-it-yourself holiday cards are easy to create for those with a digital camera and the ability to transfer photos to computers. Once photos have been uploaded, go to Snapfish.com, Shutterfly.com, Flickr.com or KodakGallery.com to prepare the cards, selecting whichever site offers the best deal. An iPhone even allows the user to design holiday cards without uploading any photos, though this option can be pricey. To use a hard copied photo, go directly to a retail store and design cards through the store’s kiosk, or if you have your own photo printer, create your own. Also consider photo postcards rather than notes to save money on postage and eliminate the need for envelopes.
