About IDX

Internet Data Exchange or IDX is also referred to as Broker Reciprocity™.  IDX allows brokerage firms that are in the MLS to display each other's listings on their own Internet Web sites. For Florida brokers, your IDX package gives you:

• IDX listings on your free Web page on The Living Network® (TLN)
• Free Web redirect - your personal Web site points to the IDX search engine on your free Living Network Web page

If you have created your own personal Web page or employed a Web vendor to create a specialized data format for your listings and utilize the FAR IDX download file, or the corporate download, then please continue to read below. This does not apply to the FAR IDX-framed URL.

The login information for FAR's IDX download files and corporate download files has changed for security purposes. The new login information is now available and can be retrieved by following the steps below: 

• Login to http://www.floridarealtors.org
  
• Click the My Membership link in the upper right area.
  
• Click on the To Company Profile link on the left hand menu.  Enter your Company login information and click the Login  button.
  
• Click the IDX button on the left.
  
• Scroll down to the File Upload/Download area. 
• Right click on the download file of interest and click on Copy Shortcut.  Save this file to your computer and then email it to your web vendor for use.
