Debbie Rector directly addresses camera:  I give to the Florida Realtors® PAC to make sure I have a voice in legislation that affects my industry, my rights as a homeowner and my opportunities as a real estate investor. I’ve contributed to the PAC since the beginning of my career 27 years ago. I considered my $99 contribution a part of doing business. Honestly, in the beginning I didn’t fully understand the benefit of the PAC. Its value became apparent as I got more involved in my local association. The turning point for me was the defeat of the service tax. With the help of the PAC, Florida Realtors defeated an attempt by the state Legislature to tax our commissions AND the fees charged by hundreds of industries that support our communities, including hair stylists, accountants, painters, carpenters, lawn care companies and so many more. If you haven’t contributed to the PAC, I ask you to consider making the minimal investment of $20. Do your share in protecting your livelihood. Together, we all win.
