See you at the Clubhouse Take 5 With Michele Bellisari TRT 4 minutes 3 seconds Video Transcription Michele Belisari directly addresses camera: Who knew that an invite-only audio chat app would help improve my business, give me more exposure to industry stalwarts and be fun at the same time? That app is Clubhouse. Hi guys, I’m Michele Bellisari, a Realtor with Real Broker LLC in beautiful Boca Raton. Let’s take five minutes to talk about Clubhouse and how I use it to get referrals. As a social media maven, I love to jump into trying new things, so when I got an invite to join, I did immediately. After all, when Snapchat was first launched, I joined and met some the greatest industry friends I have, who I still work with today. Clubhouse allows me to listen to creators, speakers, and trainers along with coaches in the industry. It also allows me to explore leaders from industries outside of real estate and apply their strategies to my own business. Many business icons like Elon Musk, Amy Porterfield and Forbes Riley have hosted or been guests in Clubhouse rooms. Clubhouse is like going to a virtual conference without having to do your hair and makeup. And you can listen to speakers while walking the dog or making dinner, so it’s very, convenient. Here’s some information and tips I find useful when using the app. First, when you open the app, make sure to fill out your profile immediately! There is a place for your headshot and your full bio. Make sure those first three lines are catchy and have a hook. It’s a great way to brand yourself. Next, connect your Twitter and Instagram accounts. After you do that, you can look around the hallway to see which rooms are live. You can quickly jump in and out of rooms to find out what you like best. For example, I like to listen in to the Real Estate Coffee Café or the Women in Real Estate Club. There’s also the Mortgage Syndicate Club and rooms that focus on real estate marketing or technology. I even started my own club called Club Real for Real Estate Agents. When you enter a room, you are muted. You can only hear the moderators and the speakers. As you get more comfortable, you can raise your hand to be brought on stage to discuss the topic at hand. That’s when you need to unmute yourself. Because when you go on stage your mic is hot. You can also start your own room. I run rooms like Probate Real Estate For Agents and Personal Branding 101. You can promote the topic you’re discussing that day on Facebook or Instagram, or send an email to your database, much like you would a webinar. Once you’re on the app, you will get to invite people. Do this to get people you want on the app. The more active you are on the app, the more people are going to follow you. And that means more interactions. Clubhouse is not a place to constantly sell your wares, so be mindful about pitching your services and products. It is all about sharing and receiving information. That’s why it’s vital to be authentic. I specialize in a few areas, including working with probate and seniors who downsize as well as divorce and relocation. A lot of times I talk about how specializing changed my business. If people want to know more, they can direct message me on Instagram. It’s a great way to take online conversations offline and develop relationships. In fact, I met some buyers that I’m working with on this app. And, I also received a great listing referral. Clubhouse is a great place to get and receive referrals, where you can meet people globally to learn and share with! Business can be done in a lot of different places, and Clubhouse is just one more unique way to do just that! See You At The Clubhouse
