Florida Realtors Leadership Academy: 2023 Class
Fifteen Realtors from across the state will enhance their leadership skills and learn more about Florida Realtors through a number of activities and sessions.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Realtors recently selected 15 Realtor members to participate in its 17th annual Leadership Academy.
The Leadership Academy was established in 2008 to identify emerging Realtor leaders ready to get involved, make a difference and enhance their leadership skills. The goal of the Academy is to empower its participants to develop the skills needed to lead a committee, a Realtor association or a community activity.
“We are so excited for the newest ‘best class ever – 2023’,” says 2023 Leadership Academy Chair Lisa Hill, a member of the Orlando Regional Realtors Association. “They will be creating lifelong friendships and be a part of an experience they will cherish for the rest of their lives. From team building to leadership training, this year will prove to be their best year ever. I am honored to call myself a Florida Realtor Leadership Academy Alumni and look forward to adding them to our Alumni family.” She is a graduate of the 2020 Florida Realtors Leadership Academy.
Omar Capellan, a 2019 Florida Realtors Leadership Academy graduate and member of the Spacecoast Association of Realtors, is vice-chair for this year’s committee.
Leadership Academy members will participate in group and independent study sessions, team-building and goal-setting exercises, plus discuss leadership techniques and communication skills enhancement.
