Brad Kroenig: A Model Realtor®
LONGBOAT KEY, Fla. – While you may not recognize Brad Kroenig’s name, his face will likely seem familiar. After all, he’s a storied male model with a 20-year career under his belt.
In fact, Kroenig is widely considered as the muse of German fashion designer and decades-long creative director for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld.
Now, he’s trading in runways for driveways as a Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Realty in Longboat Key.
Kroenig has walked runways around the world and appeared on magazine covers for Vogue, Allure, VMAN, Numéro Homme and many others. He has appeared in a myriad of print campaigns for Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Abercrombie & Fitch, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Adidas, DKNY, and Gap.
Vogue named Brad one of the top 10 male models of all time. In 2015, New York Times Magazine did an extensive profile piece on him: “The Jet Set Life of Karl Lagerfeld’s Favorite Male Model – for Now.”
Kroenig plans to use his knowledge of luxury properties and five-star service from around the world, as well as his fondness for numerous architectural influences, to enhance his Florida real estate career. His wife, Nicole, a native of the area, grew up on Longboat Key. She is the daughter of Nick Bollettieri, the tennis coach legend and founder of the IMG Academy.
Nicole Kroenig has been a licensed real estate agent since 2005 and is licensed in both Florida and New Jersey, when they lived on the East Coast to be close to New York for Brad’s career. Brad later followed suit in earning his real estate license and has an avid interest in real estate, keeping up on market conditions and trends. He is licensed in Florida and New York.
And while real estate and the fashion industry might appear to be worlds apart, Brad Kroenig notes parallels to getting established.
“When I started out in modeling, no job was too small for me to take and that eventually led to bigger things,” he recalls. “With real estate, Nicole and I are happy to work in any price point and enjoy the satisfaction of helping people through the buying and selling process.”
Known as the Kroenig Group, they plan to specialize in residential real estate in Sarasota, Longboat Key and also farther inland, such as where they reside in Lakewood Ranch.
