What is the CE Express?
The CE Express provides members with educational courses available through Florida Realtors®. The Florida Real Estate Commission for continuing education credit approves these courses for real estate licensees.
If your board or association wants to sponsor a continuing education course, you should contact the course instructor directly. Once an agreement has been reached with the instructor, a Continuing Education Express Agreement with Florida Realtors® is required to receive CE credit. Please submit the agreement with payment at least three months prior to the course date.
Once the Agreement is received by Florida Realtors®, your board or association will receive a promotional flier, a copy of the course materials and handouts. After the course is held, you will provide Florida Realtors® with a roster of attendees, including signature verification of attendance. Florida Realtors® will produce the CE credit slips for attendees and will provide an electronic roster to DBPR.
This program is a great way to offer high quality education to your members with very little hassle and paperwork for you. The one-time annual fee for 2013 is $125.
Continuing Education Credit
Students must meet the Florida Real Estate Commission attendance requirements to receive credit. Students may not miss more than 10 percent of the classroom instruction time.
This applies to all courses approved for continuing education credit as well as those in the CE Express Program.
Education Directors should go to FREdNet for the latest CE Express Agreement.
