“Email Is Like Laundry” — Let AI Do the Folding

Veronica Figueroa once had three people answering her emails. Then she tried an AI assistant that filters the fluff, drafts replies and mimics her tone. Now, email takes 20 minutes a day—and she’s got her time (and privacy) back.

“Email can be an abyss, like doing laundry,” says Orlando-based Veronica Figueroa, CEO, success coach, broker- associate and influencer at The Fig Team brokered by eXp Realty. “I don’t like it, but I know it’s one of the main forms of communication.”

In the past, three members of her team spent two to three hours daily responding to the 300-500 emails she receives each day. Not only did this involve a loss of privacy; some opportunities were missed, she says.

Then, in February 2025, her team (65 agents and five in operations) received access to the AI executive assistant app, Fyxer AI, through eXp Realty. Fyxer, which integrates with CRM systems and calendars, organizes inboxes and drafts emails and meeting notes.

• Handle your own email. “No one checks my email now,” says Figueroa. She manages her inbox herself, spending no more than 20 minutes daily, she estimates.

• Tune out the noise. “Fyxer sorts my inbox and knows what to respond to and what is a distraction. I can focus only on emails I need to answer.”

• Use it often. “The more you use Fyxer, the more it knows you,” says Figueroa. “It’s starting to sound like me.” With the messages the app drafts automatically, “I only have to tweak one thing, and sometimes nothing at all.”

• Time saver. “We get so many hours back to spend on more important things, like being in front of more clients,” says Figueroa. “The time savings are priceless. We can do things faster without being inundated [by email].”
