Virtual Education Sessions Designed Just for Association Executives

Expand your skills and network by joining local board leaders from across the state for a series of educational webinars.

UPDATE: The Association Executives Education Workshop, an in-person event held annually, has been canceled. Instead, a series of virtual education workshop classes will be held for local association leaders to expand their skills and network with colleagues. Sessions will be added below when announced.

Session 1: 'Near Rocks, Far Rocks'

June 25, 2020
3:30 p.m. EDT
Via Zoom video conferencing

"Near Rocks, Far Rocks" is a training concept fighter pilots use to prioritize tasks as they safely navigate obstacles en route to their target. It's a highly effective leadership tool that can help Association Executives and staff become better, faster and stronger.

USAF Major General (ret.) Jake Polumbo invites you to experience "Near Rocks, Far Rocks" for yourself as he takes you on a virtual mission from Arizona to Las Vegas. The mission:  Make sure the “near” tasks do not end up getting in the way of the “far” tasks.

This webinar event counts toward AEs' 2020 Core Standards Professional Development requirement. Association staffers are also invited to participate.

The session will be recorded for those unable to attend in real-time.
