Compass Completes $1.6B Anywhere Acquisition
The deal brings together roughly 340,000 real estate pros and affiliate broker-owners under Compass International Holdings, with Robert Reffkin at the helm.
NEW YORK — Compass announces the completion of the Anywhere Real Estate $1.6 billion acquisition Friday, forming the world’s largest real estate brokerage.
The merger, approved by shareholders at both companies, creates a network of about 340,000 real estate professionals and affiliate broker-owners operating in every major U.S. city and across 120 countries and territories.
As chairman and CEO, Robert Reffkin will lead bringing the two companies together under Compass International Holdings.
