Florida Realtors CEO Earns HousingWire Honors
Florida Realtors® CEO Margy Grant was named a 2025 HousingWire Woman of Influence for the second year, honoring her impact on the housing industry.
WASHINGTON — Florida Realtors® is proud to announce CEO Margy Grant was named one of HousingWire’s 2025 Women of Influence for the second consecutive year, an honor that recognizes 100 women nationwide for their significant contributions to the housing industry.
Grant, Florida Realtors’ first female CEO, oversees creating and delivering products, tools, programs and services that help the 238,000 Realtor® membership deliver services and boost their business within ethical and legal parameters.
Under Grant’s leadership, Florida Realtors’ technology platforms continue to earn national acclaim: Tech Helpline and Form Simplicity were named to HousingWire’s 2025 Tech100, marking their third consecutive year on the list, with Form Simplicity also recognized in the Tech200 as one of the industry's Top 5 Transaction Management Systems. Her influence extends far beyond the state; she serves on the National Association of Realtors® Finance Committee, the Second Century Initiatives Board of Directors, and is a member of the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame – recognizing her long-term commitment to advocacy efforts that protect property rights and promote the real estate profession. In 2024, she was one of only three association executives nationwide inducted into NAR’s prestigious Dr. Almon R. (Bud) Smith, RCE, AE Leadership Society, honoring her outstanding leadership and mentorship.
Grant, who joined Florida Realtors in 2005 as general counsel and chief operations officer, leads the daily operations of a state Realtor association known for its award-winning legal programs, professional development and influential research and communications – including Florida Realtor magazine, which was honored with the 2023 ASAE Gold Circle Award as the “best of the best” in the print magazine category. Under her leadership, Florida Realtors continues to deliver innovative tools and services – most recently, the 2025 launch of Sabal Sign, a custom-built digital signature solution that enhances the Form Simplicity transaction management platform used by real estate professionals across the state.
She also plays a key role in sustaining Florida Realtors’ reputation as a national leader in advocacy. The Florida Realtors PAC is the largest political action committee in the state representing any industry, with a 95% success rate in recent election cycles for endorsed candidates who support pro-housing, pro-business policies. Grant ensures the organization’s voice is strong and effective – both at home and abroad – by expanding global partnerships, growing international outreach efforts, and successfully guiding members through industry-shaping changes, including those related to the National Association of Realtors’ 2024 Sitzer-Burnett settlement.
HousingWire said the annual award honors leaders across mortgage, real estate and fintech who are making a measurable impact on their organizations and the broader housing economy. The winners were selected by the organization’s editorial team and a panel of industry professionals, based on their professional accomplishments, industry contributions, community involvement and overall influence.
HousingWire said the 2025 honorees reflect the strength and diversity of talent leading housing into the future.
“This year’s honorees reflect the depth of talent and leadership shaping today’s housing economy,” Sarah Wheeler, HousingWire’s editor-in-chief, said. “With a strategic vision and a deep commitment to their teams and communities, these women are not only driving progress but also paving the way for the next generation of leaders.”
