9 Realtors Join Board Certified Professionals

Florida Realtors® recognized the latest members — the 2025 class — to earn the endorsement as top professionals at Friday’s BOD meeting at the annual convention.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The “best of the best” — that’s what nine Realtors® in communities across Florida now can claim, having recently earned their endorsement as a Florida Realtors Board Certified Professional.

“Being a Florida Realtors Board Certified Professional means you’ve committed to the highest standards in our business – not just in sales, but in service, advocacy and the way you treat clients and fellow Realtors,” says 2025 Florida Realtors President Tim Weisheyer, broker-owner of Dream Builders Realty and dbrCommercial Real Estate Services in Central Florida. “It’s about showing the public, and each other, that we take our role seriously.”

Members of Florida Realtors’ 2025 class of Board Certified Professionals are:

  • Kim Ducharme Levensohn, Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter Counties
  • Jackie Griffin, Space Coast Association of Realtors
  • Kimberlie Griggs, Emerald Coast Association of Realtors
  • Lacy Horsley, Central Panhandle Association of Realtors
  • Bailey Jordan, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors
  • Rachel McCoy, Realtors Association of Sarasota and Manatee
  • Rusty Melle, Space Coast Association of Realtors
  • Lynn Peters, Pensacola Association of Realtors
  • Melinda Sanchez, Realtors Association of Sarasota and Manatee

An advisory group on industry professionalism led to the development of the Board Certified Professional program. With so many new licensees entering the profession each year, certification was deemed necessary, not only to honor those working at the peak of their profession, but also to create a benchmark for new Realtors to work toward.

Seventeen Realtors from the inaugural class of 2023 also successfully completed their Florida Realtors’ Board Certified Professional endorsement recertification, demonstrating their expertise and commitment to professionalism. They are:

  • Gia Arvin, Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors
  • Adam Gurske, Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors
  • Sandy Kishton, Lake City Board of Realtors
  • Vicky Lee Santana, Realtors Association of Indian River County
  • Desiree Avila, Miami Association of Realtors
  • Pamela Smith, Pensacola Association of Realtors
  • Lisa Baltozer, Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors
  • Debra Duvall, Martin County Realtors of the Treasure Coast
  • Heather Swanson, Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors
  • Kara Wisely, Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter County
  • Robin Raiff, Realtors Association of Indian River County
  • Stacy Plean, Broward, Palm Beaches and St. Lucie Realtors
  • Daniel Lopez, Orlando Regional Realtor Association
  • Adam Jonas, Suncoast Tampa Association of Realtors
  • John Waas, Pensacola Association of Realtors
  • Stacy Stahl, Key West Association of Realtors
  • Aminta Goynes, Suncoast Tampa Association of Realtors

“Every time a member raises the bar on professionalism, it strengthens the value of being a Realtor and the trust people place in our brand,” Weisheyer says. “This program is how we recognize and promote those who lead by example.”

Realtor members had to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in four key areas: an in-depth knowledge of the contractual details of a real estate transaction, education, community service and supporting homeownership through advocacy efforts.

For more information about the program, go to Florida Realtors’ member website. The next application period will open in January 2026.
