Florida Realtors awards $226K in scholarships
The Florida Realtors Education Foundation Inc. awarded $1,000 scholarships to Florida students pursuing higher education in the 2026-2027 school year. Since the program began, it has awarded more than $3.2 million to help 2,426 students.
Backpacks, books and tuition bills are about to get a little lighter for 226 Florida students, thanks to $226,000 in scholarships from Florida Realtors® Education Foundation Inc. for the 2026-2027 school year.
Each recipient received $1,000 to take their next steps towards future success. The winners, all Florida residents, plan to attend community colleges, four-year universities, graduate programs or law schools in state and out of state. Some are considering real estate careers.
Since the program began 16 years ago, the Florida Realtors Education Foundation Student Scholarship Program has awarded a total of $3,200,600 to help 2,426 students," Alisa Rogers, this year's foundation board chair, said.
"These scholarships represent more than financial assistance – they reflect Realtors®' commitment to supporting the next generation and helping students achieve their educational goals," Rogers said.
Recipients are enrolled at schools including the University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Central Florida, University of North Florida, Florida International University, Stetson University College of Law, Florida Gulf Coast University, University of South Florida and Florida A&M University, along with out-of-state schools such as Georgetown University and Villanova University.
Selection criteria included academic achievement, financial need, ties to a Realtor family, and contributions to family, school and community.
