Realtor® Aminta Goynes: The Power of Service
TAMPA, Fla. – “When you are genuine in your service to others and it comes from the heart, then success finds you,” says Aminta Goynes, CIPS, ePro, a team leader with The Goynes Group of Coldwell Banker Realty in Tampa.
She is one of 20 Florida Realtors® Board Certified Professionals, a new endorsement for Realtors who have fulfilled leadership, education and skill-based achievements during their real estate careers.
Goynes has carved a path of success and service in the real estate profession. Her journey into property management and residential sales was shaped by her experiences, upbringing and unwavering commitment to her clients. With a warm smile and a passion for making a difference, she serves as a beacon of empathy and excellence in the real estate community.
From a young age, Goynes was immersed in education and community service, thanks to the influence of her parents. Her mother and father were esteemed educators in their respective fields, instilling in Aminta the values of dedication, compassion and volunteerism. As a child, she often shadowed her parents at work, witnessing their interactions with local officials and individuals from all walks of life. These early experiences left their mark, igniting a desire to follow in their footsteps and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
As she grew older, Goynes realized the power of implementing the lessons she learned from her parents. Drawing inspiration from their genuine approach to service, she embarked on her path in the real estate industry. In 2007, Goynes made her foray into property management, a decision that would shape her career. Despite having no prior experience, she discovered a hidden talent for the role and quickly excelled at managing properties.
After successfully running her own property management company and gaining invaluable insights into the industry, Goynes made another strategic decision in 2014.
From property management to sales
"Transitioning into residential sales in 2014 was a pivotal moment for me," she recalls. "Drawing from my background in property management, I embraced new challenges and expanded my expertise. This allowed me to provide exceptional service to my clients, understand their needs and navigate the complexities of real estate transactions."
This progression allowed her to leverage her knowledge of property management, giving her a unique advantage in understanding the intricacies of real estate transactions and providing exceptional service to her clients.
In 2014, Goynes founded The Goynes Group. Driven by her own experiences as a self-taught salesperson, Goynes placed a strong emphasis on training and education within her team. She understood the importance of giving her agents the knowledge and skills necessary to guide clients through the complex process of buying and selling properties.
"I wanted to create a team of dedicated professionals who shared my vision of providing top-notch real estate service," she shares. "Education and training became the pillars of our team.”
With a focus on residential sales, land sales, new construction, existing construction and distressed properties, she and her team became trusted partners for buyers, sellers and investors.
Next-level negotiation skills
Goynes says her superpowers in the real estate industry are her exceptional negotiation skills and her ability to structure contracts. With a deep understanding of the market and a keen eye for opportunities, she consistently achieves favorable outcomes for her clients. Whether representing buyers, sellers or investors, she brings her expertise to the negotiating table, ensuring that her client's best interests are protected and their goals are met.
Her passion for investment real estate enables her to help clients find lucrative opportunities in the market.
However, her journey in real estate has not been without its share of challenges. She recalls one particularly challenging transaction, when she discovered that the buyers were misinformed about their options for selecting a lender. As a result, the transaction faced significant delays and uncertainty.
Undeterred, Goynes proactively engaged with the buyers' agent, lender and seller to find creative solutions. Through her expert negotiation skills and unwavering commitment to her clients, she managed to revive the deal, navigate the challenges and successfully close the transaction. This experience reinforced her belief in the importance of open communication, problem-solving and going above and beyond for her clients.
Belonging to community
Beyond her professional achievements, Goynes is active in her local community. She supports charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, where she contributes financially and actively participates in events. Her involvement with Dress for Success, an organization that empowers women in transition, exemplifies her dedication to uplifting and inspiring others. By organizing events that celebrate and support women, Goynes leaves a lasting impact on those she serves.
Helping others achieve their goals gives Goynes personal and professional satisfaction. “It's about helping my buyers and sellers achieve their dreams, whether it's finding their dream home, making profitable investments or successfully closing a deal,” she says. “The genuine care I have for my clients' well-being drives me to go the extra mile, ensuring they feel heard, understood and supported throughout their real estate journey."
As part of the first class of Florida Realtors Board Certified Professionals, Goynes is a role model for her real estate profession. Her unwavering commitment to excellence, empathetic approach to client service and dedication to giving back to the community shows she is a leader in the real estate industry.
