Becoming a licensed Realtor takes an investment of time, money, and education. Having your license will be worth it!
Step 1: Get your Florida sales associate license
You can get a real estate sales associate license as long as you are at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or an equivalent, and have a U.S. Social Security number.
Take pre-license courses and pass the exam
You will need to take 63 hours of pre-licensing education: Principles, Practices and Law I. The time includes 60 hours of instruction (you can’t miss more than 8 hours) and a 3 1/2-hour exam.
