Florida Realtors Past President Named NAR First VP
Christine Hansen, who served as Florida Realtors president in 2018, was elected 2025 first vice president of the National Association of Realtors.
WASHINGTON – Christine Hansen, Florida Realtors® 2018 president and broker-owner of Century 21 Hansen Realty in Fort Lauderdale, was elected the National Association of Realtors® 2025 first vice president Thursday. As 2025 first vice president, she will run for 2026 president-elect.
Hansen, a second-generation real estate professional and Realtor® for 35 years, has served on 175 committee and task force posts at the national, state and local levels in the past two decades, including the Realtors of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale Association (RAPM-GFLR). Some of her other recent volunteer activities include NAR executive committee member (present), NAR vice president of advocacy (2020), NAR director (2006-2010; 2011-2023) and Realtor party director (2019).
In her campaign, Hansen focused on four central pillars: courage in action, best in class advocacy, connection and working together to navigate the challenges of an ever-changing profession. On her campaign website, she underscored her desire to serve.
The website noted that, to Christine, "this is not a race for a title, but a quest to continue serving, listening to and advocating for her fellow real estate professionals from coast to coast. She knows what it takes to push past challenges and find common ground, giving everyone a seat at the decision-making table.”
Hansen is a life coach and works to help people reach their full potential personally and professionally so they can lead more joyful and healthy lives. As a trained mediator, she conducts mediation for brokers and local associations. Hansen’s mother Anita was a Realtor and founded the company. Her daughter, Jennifer Parker, and son-in-law are also Realtors in Florida.
The NAR Board of Directors also elected the following 2025 Leadership Team members:

Craig Sanford, Phoenix, treasurer (2025-26)
NAR President Kevin Sears remains president in 2025. His 2025 vice president appointees are Jennifer Branchini, Pleasanton, Calif., vice president of association affairs; and Sara Lipnitz, Birmingham, Mich., vice president of advocacy.
