Florida's Growth Story is Changing: Florida Realtors Economic Insights Now Online
The new digital flipbook offers market insights, buyer trends and property insurance updates. The latest issue is out now.
ORLANDO, Fla. — Twice a year, the Florida Realtors® Research Department takes an in-depth look at the major economic trends nationally and within the state of Florida and brings the information to Florida Realtors members in the form of our Economist Report.
Previously only available in print version at the annual convention and Mid-Winter meetings, this important report is now available to all members via a digital flipbook.
In the Volume 4, Issue 2 publication released in August 2026, we explore how Florida continues to attract people, income and investment—but that success is reshaping the state in ways that matter for Realtors. The latest Florida Realtors Economists Report looks at the forces behind Florida’s growth, from the $21.2 billion in net household income flowing into the state to the rising costs of homeownership and the changing profile of the people moving here. We also take a closer look at who is driving that income migration, why affordability remains a challenge and what today’s housing market tells us about where Florida is headed next.
The accompanying Economic Development & Commercial Real Estate News insert takes the story beyond housing, highlighting the companies, projects and industries investing in Florida—from new industrial and logistics facilities to healthcare, aerospace, technology and headquarters relocations. Together, the two pieces offer a look at how Florida is changing—and what that means for the communities and real estate markets our members serve.
