Florida Realtors Scholarship Apps Now Open
Florida residents can apply for 2026-27 academic awards starting at $1,000. Students in any major are eligible if they submit their online application by March 6.
ORLANDO, Fla. — Who doesn’t need extra money to pay for college? Whether you’re the parent of a college student or one yourself, Florida Realtors® has an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to put some money towards their higher education.
The Florida Realtors Education Foundation has started accepting applications for scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic school year, with awards beginning at $1,000. Applications are due by noon on March 6 and only accepted online.
While special consideration is given to students considering a career in real estate or real estate-related fields, students in any major are welcome to apply.
Eligible applicants include students whose parents are Realtors® or licensed real estate practitioners, whose parents work for a local Realtor association or Florida Realtors® and Florida students currently enrolled in traditional, charter or home-school programs.
The program is open to:
- Florida high school seniors planning to attend an undergraduate college or university
- Florida residents currently enrolled in undergraduate programs (any major)
- Florida residents pursuing graduate degrees
Students may attend college or university anywhere, provided they indicate an intent to return to Florida for work after graduation. Applicants must be a Florida resident with proof of residency.
To be considered, applicants must:
- Complete the online application
- Submit three reference letters dated January 2025 or after. Two of the references must be from teachers or administrators from your school and submitted on school letterhead.
- Submit academic transcripts from the last three years
- Submit the acceptance letter from one of more colleges that the student plans to attend in Fall 2026
- If currently enrolled, submit a copy of your school ID
Applicants will be judged on:
- Academic standing
- Financial need
- Community involvement
- Evidence of leadership qualities
The final selections are made by the Education Foundation’s Board of Directors. Winners will be notified by phone at the end of April.
The Florida Realtors Education Foundation has awarded nearly $2.75 million in scholarships since the program launched 15 years ago, helping 1,986 students pursue higher education.
