BREAKING NEWS: Florida Realtors supports property tax reform
Florida Realtors’ Board of Directors approved today the association’s support of Amendment 3, a November ballot measure that would provide property tax relief and make changes to Florida’s homestead and non-homestead property tax structure.
Florida Realtors®’ Board of Directors today approved the association’s support of Amendment 3, wrapping up the association’s Governance Meetings following its 2026 Convention & Trade Expo.
If approved by at least 60% of voters, Amendment 3 would increase the homestead property tax exemption, lower the annual assessment cap on non-homestead properties and make other changes to Florida’s property tax system.
